So I had a lot of fun building up my house last night getting all the available components. I got them all and it didn't bother me, maybe because in real life I am a minimalist so it is a change from the norm to see a lot of stuff. Anyway, now the only things left are to get all the animal busts.

Is there a way to get stocked up on large antlers? This seemed to be the only ingredient which I couldn't readily find at merchants or apothecary shops so it looks like I will have to do some hunting. Is there a good spot where Elk show up often?

Also, at one point when I swung by my house I had Meeko with me and my daughter went nuts over him so I let her keep him, oddly he guards the outside of the house and doesn't hang out inside. I was wondering, since I got Meeko will my two kids still go out and bring animals home that they want to keep or will they remain content with just Meeko. I ask because I think it would be fun to have crabs, foxes and such roaming around inside the manor.

Go hunting in the plains near Whiterun.The Rift has a lot of bears, and Hjaalmarch has a lot of animals in the marsh.As for antlers, Falkreath and Winterhold(past the mountains) should suffice.
