my patch wish list

Post » Sun Feb 24, 2013 5:12 pm

First a smithing overhaul. In example making upgrading armor require more than just an ingot. (Last time I checked iron armor has leather straps ehy not require leather strips and goat hide ( for the fur)). Making the steel perk into the basic perk and adding iron, leather, and hide to it. Adding banded iron armor set, falmer set, dragon priest daggers, and wuthraad to the advanced armors perk. Add blades armor to the steel perk, add mace of molag bal, merunes razor nightngale sword/bow to ebony and spell breaker, volendrung to dwarven. Add custom colors to armor such as black orcish (made of course with custom materials such as ebony and orichalcum.) Give certain weapons unique meshes and textures like skyward steel weapons looking unique or adding corundium weapons quicksilver weapons and armor and reintroducing mythril.

Second. For the love of god fix the broken stuff. Patch elemental furies sound effect. Its driving md crazy and wont go away. Fix the quest involving rescuing the guy from the thalmor etc etc.

Third please think of working with a few of the steam workshop and nexus modders to convert some of their quest armor and weapon mods into small pay dlc. Maybe not on the scale of 20 bucks but maybe ten wigh some profit going to them as incentive. A lot of gheir mods are quality stuff and would be eell worth the wait as ps3 and xbox dlc.

And last can we please get new cosmetic additions in future dlc. Idk maybe new hairstyles as well as new eye colors mouth nose and face shapes. Because the vanilla stuff is rather bland. Some better shorter hairstyles more beards to choose from brighter green eye color that isn't ass damn dark as the vanilla version.

bethesda will never ever publish any of user-made content as they do not actually own it, therefore releasing it under their brand would be....illegal?

you sir did not read my post fully or you would know that I suggested the work together with modders to produce the content online for the ps3 and the Xbox 360. this way the Modder would get contribution as in a small fee for making the mod every time somebody downloaded it as an incentive to make more content whivh bethesda would publish for condole users. in other words the modder would be working for Bethesda in a way.

bethesda paying a set amount of money as "an incentive" for creating some additional content to SOME people they choose? whilst there are thousands of more people that are doing the very same thing (creating additional content) as well yet they dont get to be paid that "incentive"??? this is simply like begging for a civil war or something here... plus this would also need contracts... helluva lot of them... and not only with the creators of the "selected" content, but also with any and all sites they are/have been hosted on as free mods for pc's, and i could keep on going and going with helluva lot of reasons this could NEVER happen...

edit:fixed a typo.......

1. Sounds like a decent idea but I doubt it'll happen because patches aren't for overhauls, just fixes (it actually sounds like a decent mod tbh).

2. There are so many quest issues (some specific to certain people/events only) that they can't all be fixed. But the sticking sound effects/visual bug is horrible on a console as you can't fix it as opposed to on the PC, and affects you constantly, so that would be good to be fixed.

3. Would be neat but that won't happen for a lot of different reasons, unfortunately.

4. I'm always up for more customisation.

Had another idea. An unarmed skill tree. power attacks include moving backwards Power attack leg sweep forward power attack running knee to gut. Side power attack round house kick. Stealth kill neck snap. Perks could include increased damage with hands chance to stun enemies damage stamina chance to knock down with power attacks increased a perk that changes fighting style and increased movement speed. Pushing both attack buttons results in blocking with hands crossed perk that letz gauntletz act as damage buffer. Running while blocking unarmed results in a tackle knocking foes down.
