Would you like a Dead is Dead setting?

Like if you start a new game, would you like a DID option ala hardcoe mode in FNV?

DID means if you die, the game would erase your character.

I would personally love this to be implemented. I love DID style, it really keeps you on your toes so you dont just run around like an idiot hitting things. It makes you think, and carefully consider each action.

I would never use it but I have no objections to it being part of a hardcoe setting for other people to use.

In all honesty, I can't fathom why it would be necessary for Bethesda to implement this. If you want to play DID, why don't you just delete the file once your character dies? Seems simple enough.

First of all, NV's hardcoe mode was not DiD

Secondly there is already DiD option in Skyrim. It's called "Delete Save".

I want hardcoe added.

If i done a dead is dead character i wouldnt do quests i would just be a pilgrim, trader or some other rp thing. Then whrn my character dies i will load him up kill every killable person in whiterun then delete him.

sure you can delete your own save... but in the back of your mind you know you can always reload. But if the CPU deleted it, then you would not f*** around!

DID option FTW!

If you're the kind of player who didn't have enough self control to honestly delete their save, then you'd never use that option anyway.

If other people want it, no skin off my ass, but I personally wouldn't touch that feature with a ten foot pole.
