This happens to me routinely. I mean multiple times a session. I will cast chain lightning on a target. I hit the target each time, since it gets staggered with each hit. But on the last one, the kill cam activates. Despite my aim not having changed, and despite the target not moving, the lightning misses. Misses! just hits some nearby patch.
And it does it again. And again. There is absolutely no mechanical reason this would've missed. None. Had the kill cam not activated, i wouldve won. But it DID activate, and as a result, I didnt see the results I otherwise would have.
Theres a lot of bugs in the games I put up with. I understand that no game can be perfect, and that some bugs are inevitable. This is not one of those times. The fact that for so long, there were no ranged kill cams attests to this. We know they don't need to be there. So this situation is wholly resolvable:
Either A) Fix kill cams so they don't disrupt attacks as you're attacking, or

Because it's just plain stupid. It is easily the most frustrating part of the game, because its activation leads to failure that would not have otherwise occurred. You guys have released three major DLC and yet this problem persists. Its the easiest thing in the world for you to fix, and nearly iimpossible for us.
There was a time, when Bethesda actually cared about this sort of thing. I truly hope they will get the message. Thats why I ask: If anyone is as fed up as I am with this one bug, please say so. Unlike so many others, theres a solution. We know it. Maybe we can get it acted on. Because its frankly ridiculous that we arent even given an explanation, or acknowledgement.
Don't mistake this rant -- and it is a rant -- for an ultimatum. It isnt. Its a plea. Skyrim's a fun game, and this one bug causes so much frustration, and yet could be easily fixed by the developers. Skyrim will still be fun with it occurring... But it would be much less frustrating if it was dealt with.
