The crime/bounty system has always been a big part of TES games, but not so much in these types of MMORPGs. Now, we already know stealing and pick pocketting is in. We also know werewolves and vampires are in, who have traditionally been faced with the risk of NPC aggro, which could result in some NPC deaths. Thieves making a career out of pick pocketting afk bankers, and werewolf guilds grouping up to wipe out cities sounds awesome, but what kind of checks and balances are we going to see for that stuff?
Jail, surrendering stolen items, and having attack-on-sight status on a character always made me reconsider whether or not stealing that sweetroll or punching Fargoth in the face was really worth it. So are we going to see the triumphant return of 'stop right there, criminal scum!' (maybe even have players able to go hostile on criminals with bounties?) or is it simply going to revolve around death timers/penalties in the eventuality that enough guards pile on the criminal and kill him?
