The Imga

So ive played Elder Scrolls ever since Morrowind, but have never known about the beastial race known as the Imga. They are very interesting, and they reside in Valenwood so... why are they not a playable race? And do you think they might become a playable race in the next Elder Scrolls?
heres a link for info about them: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Imga

Creating a new playable race now this deep into the series probably wouidn't be something they would do. You never know though. There are certain creatures around various parts of Tamriel that could be potential playable characters.

Meh. I don't care for them.

The Altmer are annoying enough on their own, we don't need little pretender monkeys trying to act all high and mighty as well.

They're probably not playable for the same reasons as the Falmer/Goblins and Rieklings, I'd wager. Their culture is not well-developed enough.
Their blind worship of Altmer seems akin to how Rieklings worship random statues made of clutter, or how Giants worship painted cows.

I'll tell you right now they won't make them a playable race... not without radically re-designing their proportions.

Game-design the current playable races are made disgustingly similar in proportions to eachother - presumably for armor/physics/animation economic design reasons.

That race would require massive armor custom design shifts just for that race in order to make the chests, helms and gloves work.

I still remember my first time seeing an ES orc and saying "...THAT's supposed to be an Orc!? That's just a grey/green skinned human!" Having investigated I now know why they look so damn similar to each other. It's about the design mechanics when developing the game.

Seems like the little buggers would die protecting their Altmeri masters/"gods", rather than stand about and do nothing about it.
I'd expect we'd be fighting quite a lot of those Imga were a game focusing on the Thalmor ever to be released.
