Which kind of warrior based playstyle might fit this charact

I always had most fun with dual wielding weapons.
But lately I got discouraged because of the fact that there is only one weapon sheath.

I have this idea of a lone warrior kind of character. A very mysterious one who you might find standing in the corner of the tavern with a grim look. I have always liked characters like these.
But, I still don't know what kind of weapon I'd like for this. Two blades seem like a fitting thing, but I already mentioned the problem there.

What about a greatsword? It looks rather intimidating, and since my character is a Nord it seems fitting. Having a big weapon doesn't always mean you are a giant with a typical berserker attitude.

Wield a sword and a dagger. Or two daggers. That way you can pretend the other weapon is hidden. Something like Yul Brynner in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ultimate_Warrior_%281975_film%29

The greatsword sounds great.

The only thing i came to dislike (but not much) about 2h weps is the way chars swing them: it's distinctively medieval. Godzilla wielding a street lamp. There is no grace that might have allowed for a more "stealth" interpretation.

Yes, i'm talking about ninjas.

I'd like two-handed a lot better if you could use it to block. It's not like there's a real world justification for blocking not being allowed. There simply aren't enough buttons on the XBox controller is all.

Try a 2 handed battle axe, those look great.
