I am on PS3 and my favorites list is getting longer and longer. I like it for the obvious reason tha you don't have to open the items or magic menu to equip.
My list is long though and i wanted to compare to what others have to see if there is a better way or if this is normal.

I keep only:

- My main weapon and shield if any / Main spell that I use (like Chain Lightning). One or the other, depending on my build.
- Torch
- Main healing spell
- One or two utility spells like atronarchs and such.

Thus my favorites list is always short and tidy. Keep only what you need.

Weapon and shield both enchanted and named with two spaces at start (so they appear at top of fav list),
Healing spells - fast healing being hotkeyed to <-dpad,
Soul trap - hotkeyed ->dpad,
Some potions,
Slow/paralyze poisons for those annoying bosses,
Shouts.
Bow for backup ranged.

I find adding anything else just causes annoyance with scrolling through the list all the time. I don't get why beth didn't make two fav lists. As it stands, on PS3 anyway, up and down on dpad do exactly the same thing. They should of made it where spells, shouts and potions/poisons are on one and weapons, armour and such are on the other. Ohwells.
