Two Strange Things Today

Post » Thu Feb 28, 2013 4:44 pm

I had two strange things happen to me today as i was playing with a new character that i recently started.

1) I entered Dawnstar and the orc that triggers the Dawngaurd quest approached me. Simultaneously the two cultists that trigger the Dragonborn quest line approached me and attacked me while the orc was talking to me. The cultist said "never should've come here" and the orc said "look, a fight" as he ran away. At the exact same time a dragon was attacking Dawnstar. The guards disposed of the dragon and one of the cultists.

2) While in the reach i was attacked by three foresworn and for goodness knows what reason a nearby female peddler and her horse attacked me. I encured a small bounty for killing the peddler. The horse was the last thing alive and only after after i killed the horse did i receive the "last witness killed, bounty lifted" message. WTF?? Was the horse going to travel to Markarth and rat me out??

That's wild, eh? LoL
Reminds me of Fallout3, when I was trying to get it going (after I had a harddisk failure)...
Boom! DLC. Boom! DLC...
Five times, heheh - they all hammer you at once, when you first fire up the game.

Dude - you killed a horse?
In 1200 hours I've never killed a horse.
Anything I kill is richly deserving...

I'm gonna put you on the spot. I was planning on getting a copy of Fallout 3 GOTY when i get tired of Skyrim. Is it worth playing??

In reply to your horse comment, i normally hate killing a horse but i have a low level character and this horse was pelting me!! I didn't have much of a choice.

Fallout 3 is worth playing but I'd recommend New Vegas over it any day.

Fallout 3 GOTY is The Game!
It's serious. Grim almost...
Really something.

The one DLC lets you play 'beyond' the ending, ie. indefinitely...
But it also introduces Albino Radscorpions which kill everything/anything (including merchant caravans) so, you cannot really play indefinitely.
It's kinda frustrating actually - but there's a good 500 or 600 hours there anyway, no problem...
I would introduce the DLCs one-by-one, and only after I had played the heck out of the game and was running out of things to do.

Horse attacked you huh?
Well there you go (that's never happened to me either) LoL
Wonder what you did to set them off like that...?
