Hey!

Making me an Imperial Battle Mage. He's going for mixing Heavy and Light armor. I'm not trying to min-max, just trying to immerse myself.

Been searching wide and long for the perfect armor set (combinations of vanilla and modded armors)... So let's get to the point shall we!
Does anyone here have a tip on a really awesome combination of armors for Battle Mages? I'd prefer if it were modded with a couple Vanilla pieces

For instance I just figured out that the http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19372 (Heavy, chest piece) combined with Dawnguard Gauntlets and Boots look really nice... Just not sure if it's completely Battle Mage-y. I COULD use this set with http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30462. I'm going for the 1-handed hammer in the http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26244 mod and I'll be using spells in my left hand. Probably going for destruction > illusion > a few perks in restoration > a few perks in conjuration but primarily focusing on speech and illusion (not quite Battle Mage, but whatevs!). He'll still rush into combat. After all how can you be a Battle Mage in a game with only 1 actual battle (of Windhelm or Solitude)?!


I realise this could be in mods section but it could also be here. Feel free to suggest other "builds" and appropriate armor matches. Weapons are also appreciated, but try and stay lore-friendly
