So I made a new character with the intents of RP. It's actually been a lot of fun, she's an Altmer Vampire Lord whose intent is to be queen of all of Skyrim. (RP, IT COULD HAPPEN).
She majors in Illusion to manipulate the wills of the peasants as she works her way to the top.
ANYWAYS with that out of the way, I haven't really touched the MQ except for a few various parts of it. (Mainly enough for me to be able to Shout, which is because she's based off of a singer. Power of the voice - singer, yeah you get the picture.)
However I downloaded Dragonborn and decided to test the waters a little bit. I got up the point where I see Miraak for the first time, when he says something along the lines of:
"You consider yourself Dragonborn? You've slain very few dragons (which is true, up until that point I had only slain about 3-4)." Essentially, he called me a filthy peasant.
I was just in shock. I felt so immersed in the game that I felt the need to travel back to Skyrim, and do more of the MQ to prove myself as a true Dragonborn. (Of course, I didn't have to, but if I were Marina - my character - that would be something she would want to do).
Marina was furious about how that little mask wielding twerp was able to render her helpless. She's determined that the next time they meet he'll regret ever insulting her dragon blood.
Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else?
P.S. SORRY IF I'M IN THE WRONG PLACE.
