Easter Egg or Bug? : V

I am in Whiterun just walking around and I notice that all the houses are lit up. I don't just mean the windows but it looks like there are actual lights around the borders of the building. They glow gold and remind me of Christmas lights. Also it is Christmas day in my game 25th of Evening Star 4E 202.
Is it a bug and a coincidence or a neat Easter Egg? I can't take screen shots because I am on PS3 but I could take a picture of my TV.

Take a picture of your T.V. I've never experienced this. Or at least I don't recall.

Same thing actually happened to my game, happened in Whiterun as well. I initially thought all the roofs were on fire. :blink:

I just put it down to some strange bug and carried on my way.
I play on the PS3 too, maybe that has something to do with it.

If you would, also take a picture of the the screen when you have to Wait screen up so we can see the date.

It's no longer Christmas on my game because when I first saw it I waited a few days to see if it would go away, but I never left town or went inside/outside. It is now the 2nd of Morning Star January 2nd.

That place was lit up along the evestroffs and the edges. I chocked it up to a minor glitch. went to my house in Whiterun to sleep it away. It was gone from all houses when my nord woke up. I did not happen to notice the date in game at the time.

It is an Easter egg. It has been seen by a few others as well. There are also 3 other holiday Easter eggs if you would like to find them as well.
