Please, please, please...someone tell me how to bypass the stupid racing sections. And don't tell me there are only a few, they are super easy, and a 2-year old can do them. That is probably right...BUT I CAN'T!! I have tried the time trial about 800 times, to no avail. I want to shoot mutants again. I was enjoying the game up to this (very early) point, but now it looks like I will simply have to delete it from my hard drive and deem it a waste of my money. Sweet Jesus, am I to be stuck playing hidden object games for the rest of my days?

I quite liked them actually. The cars are pretty cool looking, and combat racing is combat racing

But to answer your question, no. There are races that must be won in order to continue the game.
