What do you guys think of the direction Castlevania is going? I have played most of the older Castlevania games and I really enjoyed Lords of Shadow, I feel like it was the direction they where trying to go in with the previous 3d attempts. I see where people are coming from but you can't really move the series into 3D while still having a one button attack. I just picked up Mirror of Fate, I am enjoying it so far but it feels very easy. I don't think the reboot is overly drastic, the world is still the same dark world with horrible monsters and castles. The art style is the same. At least it wasn't rebooted the way DMC was.

Lords of Shadow had some good graphics in it and it was ok to play I just didn't get in to it. However there's a Castlevania game comming out on the 3DS called Castlevania Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate and from the demo I saw---it looks pretty nice. Here's a video-----http://youtu.be/RFpfLTcs-FM .
