In case anyone is having weird issues connecting to elderscrolls.com/gamesas.com in the last few days, here is why:

A server has gone bad in one of the nodes that takes me from my home network to the gamesas.com / elderscrolls.com sites, and I get timed out. It's been like that for a couple of days now. I can only access these forums through my 4G connection on my iPhone which is using a different node path. Accessing all other websites is not a problem, just gamesas/elderscrolls.

I'm sure it'll sort itself out eventually. I figured out that the ip address of the server creating the timeouts belonged to att.net and informed them of the issue. But I doubt they'll do much about it in the near future. So folks running into the same issue will have to either access it via a 4G device or go to some other home/business/wi-fi hotspot and access it from there.
