New PC's performance really slowed down day 2 of purchase, w

I recently bought a Sony Vaio 17.3 inch E Series Laptop with Windows 8 from Newegg. The specs are as follows:

Windows 8 64 bit OS
Intel? Core? i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz
6G DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7550M 1 Gigabyte dedicated Video memory

So, the day I got it, I booted up World of Warcraft on it and it ran it on Ultra settings at about 35 FPS. Pretty decent. I downloaded Steam, then DL'd Skyrim, and it recommended Ultra High settings. Surprised, I hit play, and to my surprise, it played flawlessly. It was amazing. The beginning opening sequence, the gameplay, everything was at least 25+ fps.

Well, that was yesterday. Today, I loaded up Warcraft, and to my dismay, I can't seem to catch a breath above 20 FPS. Same exact settings, but I notice the gameplay is a bit choppy. And obviously much less FPS. The same thing with Skyrim. It'll load up just fine, but the gameplay is choppy. It was NOT like that yesterday.

Can anyone explain this? I feel like there are a lot of programs running in the background that I don't need on this prebuilt PC. I think you guys call it "bloatware"? Anyway, This thing called "Vaio Care" keeps popping up and it PISSES me off. It CONSTANTLY keeps doing stuff and says "CHECKUP LOL" and crap and it's really annoying. How can I STOP this?

I feel like some of the programs installed on this PC I do not need. Can you folks let me know? I'll paste the list of the programs installed currently:

http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner this is free and helps with temp files and such.

Idk about your latter stuff.

You should also get AVG or Avast free anti-virus.

By the way, I want to clarify, the performance OUTSIDE of games has not changed. It's still very very fast and works just fine. But for some reason I've seen a huge drop in game performance from when I first got it. And that's what I'd like explained if possible.

And thanks for your post, Chris_Aronforth.

Sounds like you dont have good enough specs, but your computer is really good so thats not it. You should get anti-virus and do a scan and the scan might find somthing.

I have to have good enough specs because it DID run the game flawlessly the first day I got it, and I played for literally hours on end without a decrease at all. So that can't be my specs lol.

No its not, its actually very similar to a build I want to do :P. But hopefully someone more quialified than me will come along and help you. But run the scan see what you find. You might have picked up somthing.

25 FPS isn't flawless, it's actually pretty bad. Lower your settings, your laptop is not powerful enough to run games on ultra high. You can try uninstalling all that crap, but your best option is using settings that are more fitting for your hardware.
