The first time I died to a horde of spiders that I thought I could kill with ice spear. All because I wanted to go fishing.
Second game I made friends with a pigman. I wanted to move his house closer to mine. Big mistake, after taking apart his house I couldn't reconstruct it.. He turned into some crazy werewolf that night, its scared the [censored] out of me. In my panic I threw my spear on the ground and all my food (which the werewolf ate). He then proceed to rip me to pieces.

I LOOOOOOOVE this game! It is so fun. It is also incredibly hard, which you do not find in games anymore. I died the same way in my first save, A horde of spiders. Have you made it to winter yet? All I can say is Buiild an ice box and Stock up on food! I love how there is an update every 14 days or so, I can't wait to see what is coming next.

No I haven't, I've only made it to day 14. I almost died again right now, I had a giant tree spawn right inside my camp as night fell. I had it chase me around for like half the night before I was able to craft a ice spear to freeze its ass. Man I love the ice spear so much, not only because its saved my life, because it allowed me to kill that damn turkey running around.
