Crossbow or spell (like firebolt) since they fly in a straight line.

Yeah they fly around near the coast. Crossbow or fireball/bolt is the most common method to kill them.

Which is the easiest?

If they're flying low enough, a shock spell such as Lightning Bolt is the easiest to hit them with since it's instantaneous.
