So I was reading this article earlier about how people "trolled" the swtor forums and gave it a bad reputation, and it occurred to me that i'm scared the same thing will happen to the TESO community as well.

The SWTOR forums are a shambles, the moderators will permanently ban you for criticism about the game, even if its constructive, yet they dont delete the "Thank you bioware" threads which are nothing but praise for the game. I hope in the Official TESO forums, people will be allowed to post their ideas and opinions about the game, criticise the game and give some suggestions on how to improve the game without being threatened with a perma ban.

The real trolls of the forums are the ones who blindly defend the game, who personally attack the OP who has given constructive criticism about the game, but the OP gets banned and their thread gets closed. The OP expected more from the game than was advertised, and was rightly entitled to posting their opinion on the matter but unfortunately you're not allowed to do that.

Just because you cant handle the truth, or dont agree with someones idea or opinion, doesnt mean they are trolling or set out to put hate on the game. I just hope the moderators of the official and or unofficial forums KEEP the criticism threads and delete the "nothing but praise " threads.

If you want this game to succeed, you must read from the community. I just hope swtor will be an example to you all

Yes, let's hope so. Part of what makes an MMO great is it's community. Yes we are going to have our idiots, let's just hope that the intellifent, thoughtful, constructive people will outnumber them. Because this game could be freaking amazing.
