Checked on mine and my girlfriend's computers, disabled all mods, same thing. Can anyone check it if its the same for them?

To be fair, after a violent death I think you'll find your eyes often don't close.

They don't close when they sleep, why would they close on death? Plenty of people die with their eyes wide open.

I have never looked that closely at a dead NPC.......
