Post » Fri Mar 22, 2013 1:16 am

So as you noticed question in the Topic Title? Is TES online gonna be end of TES single player series?
I really hope it's not, as we know TES online is setup before skyrim era. So, I as one of the old TES fans since morrowind having high hopes that TES single player will continue.

What do you think are gonna lose one great RPG game to MMORPG breed?

Don't get me wrong I'm all for TES online, I'm hyped like never before. But I would hate to lose such great RPG just to online version :)!

I hope not, but if it becomes big, it might be the end of TES single player games.

Absolutely not, ESO is being developed by Zenimax. i believe Bethesda will continue to focus on single player TES. it would be unwise to end the series.

We've had this discussion countless times. No, it's not the end of the series. TESO is being made by Zenimax Online while Bethesda continues to work on single player TES.

The truth is, the traditional story of Elder Scrolls can only really be told in the single player format. You can't be the prophesied hero if there are thousands others just like you, right? And there are still many more stories to tell, the plan to unmake the world has only just been publicly revealed. It would be incredibly foolish to end the series now.

Bethesda has said that they will not stop making single-player games. A quick trip to Google will confirm this.

I'm pretty sure Bethesda said no.

I have no plans to buy or play TES Online, although I did visit their food bus in Austin a couple weeks ago. The whole idea of playing TES as an MMORPG kills it for me.

It's about as likely as Dishonored or Doom 4 ending the series.

about a month ago when i thought this was going to be huge i said that they will still make a single player ES game though it might take longer to come out. i now feel that this game will not last nearly as long as i thought it would so i have no doubts at all about the single player games future.
