What do you think about a title open world (like bethesda games) but in the Middle Earth? Maybe with a story not based on the book but in the same time? Like you are going around and you find frodo walking with sam... Please bethesda do it XD

Forgive my english

This has been thrown around countless times. You're new, so I won't be harsh with you. (Have a fishy stick by the way: http://images.uesp.net/c/c4/Fishystick.jpg)

I don't think its a very good idea, honestly. Bethesda game studios has their few games they work on and they should keep it at that. I'd rather them produce a few amazing games a decade than countless piles of crap. An open world middle earth game is a good idea, but bethesda doesn't need to make it.

LOTRO is kinda open world. Not entirely, but sort of.

This is actually a fairly common request.

By Bethesda? No. In a similar open style to a Bethesda game? Sure.

Bethesda already has their fantasy franchise. They turned down Game of Thrones because they felt it was to similar so I imagine LOTR would be even worse for them.

I'm all for more LOTR games just not by Bethesda.

Bethesda's writing capabilities wouldn't do middle Earth justice.

Their writing abilities are fine. The lore is much more interesting than any other fantasy franchise I have come across. It is their execution that needs work. I would place money that each plot has a lot more indepth writing within their games. Their mechancis are just terrible for direct storytelling. Which is why I would support a spin off game where they have completely different gameplay. Just so their own lore could be done justice without the limitations of their main series' game mechanics.
