As you know, the release of Bioshock Infinite is upon us. Now, I do not know much about video games and graphics or other things of the like, but by the looks of the trailers (and tests I've run), I'm not entirely sure if my computer will be able to run the game playably.
I am rather confused as to whether or not my computer will be able to run Bioshock Infinite because of other games I've tested. For example, on the Can You Run It test, it said my computer would not be able to run Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas, which is has perfectly in the past. The same test also said I would not be able to run Skyrim, which I have (with a bit of lag from each loading screen, but it was still running fine otherwise). I run the Can You Run It test on Bioshock Infinite and it says the same thing it has said about the three other games I mentioned.
A lot of people have told me "If it can run Skyrim, it can run Infinite." but frankly, I'm worried it won't be able to, and if it does, I'm worried it will run it like Skyrim, taking like 5 minutes per loading screen.
So, is there anyone here with any knowledge on why my computer seems to fail tests, but on "the field" seems to run these video games perfectly fine? Will Bioshock Infinite be as graphically intense as Skyrim (based on engines it runs, and the like)?
