hardcoe players, what will ESO offer?

What will ESO offer for players that are competitive - what I mean by this is players that min/max, study game mechanics in-depth, use cookie-cutter specs, theorycrafters etc..?
This is coming from a huge TES fan and a player who sees himself having the above said play style. I do read the forums and I am sort of up-to date on all the interviews and the info
from the devs and I dont really see this being addressed, can anyone ease my worried mind?

I'm not sure what it is you're after here.
If you're wondering if compiled data will be provided so you can measure your performance against others' I don' think anything has been released regarding the topic.
On the other hand I'd imagine there will be builds that optimize utility in the areas of healing/tanking/DPS. These builds might come from different classes so there might be multiple builds for each of the trinity but there will more than likely be optimizations. None of the information regarding builds has leaked yet so all that can be said is hope to get into beta or keep watching for open beta to be announced.

Most of the heavy posters on any Elder Scrolls Online forum sites are Lore-elites and RPers.

I'm neither one. I have played the Elder Scrolls SP games and enjoyed them for their free range skill sets. What attracts me to TESO is the combat... ( keyboard turners and 1st Person immersion players will fail at this game in a combat enviroment IMO) !
At launch the OP skill set / flavor of month / cookie cutter build will be Sword and Board Mage. The Stealth in this game will not be what everyone expects ( meaning they wont like it ). So my guess is that alot of classes and builds wont rely on steath as a key component to their play style considering stealth constantly drains stamina and your movement being slowed while stealthed. I see stealth toons being 50% stamina or less by the time they chase the prey down and actually open up on the victim.

So yeah long story short.

Popular Skill builds"

1. Sword and Board Mages
2. Twohanded Heavy Armored Restoration warriors
3. Mage Archers In Medium Armor.

Don't know. Maybe nothing, maybe a lot.
