Have completed and picked up the soul essence gem. It is not in my Inventory. Uesp.net states that when activated it turns into a black soul gem. By just picking it up
did I "activate" the soul essence gem? I am worried that something will happen to when I get out of the Soul Cairn. Any help appreciated.
