The only way to level is to increase your skills. If a skill is at 100 then it's capped, unless you have the latest patch ( 1.9 )

Then, if you have the patch, the OI glitch was fixed. So, the book would not help even if you had it.

You need to use other skills that you''ve never or rarely used. All your most actively used skills are probably maxed or at least close to it so you're overall level won't raise much higher.

Just start messing around with some of the other skills, like the mage ones for example. Destruction, restoration, etc are all fairly easy skills to use and raise.

No problem. And my previous post above has a link to everything you need to know about patch 1.9. I didn't realize it fixes so much stuff.

 ..some threads on these forums...

..you level up through raising your skills.. you can raise all your skills to 100.. after you get patch 1.9 you can legendary a skill, it goes back to 15, and you can raise it to 100 again etc..

now do you want to know how to level up your skills, too? :bonk:

This thread ain't bad. I've seen much worse threads.

Just read one the other day where there was a guy stuck in a Nordic ruin and he was getting super angry because he didn't know you can chop down and even walk through spider webs. Serious facepalmin'.

Wait, you can walk through those thick spider webs? I thought you had to chop them down. You learn something everyday, I guess. How did the OP of that thread not try chopping it though?

Some of the webs are weaker and some require a quick chop or nice fire blast. Either way this guy had no idea you could get past them and it turned out he had been avoiding and bypassing all spider webbed areas. When he came across one he would turn around and leave thinking he reached the end of the dungeon.

What the heck? Did he think he would find the spider web key? I can't even... Wow.
