How do you think that TESO will deal with mismatched armor s

Since it's sounding more and more like a multiplayer TES game, how do you think they will deal with the clownsuits that plague many other MMOs.

I rather that than one piece fits all slots other than head, hands and feets, like what they did with Skyrim.

Yes, the more variances the better. I think that if the color hue for most items casts some sort of blending I don't think it would be a problem. I think the "Clownsuit" issue is more with games like WoW, Tera, or Aion which have brighter colors and invite more scattered diversity.

Its a clownsuit in most RPG games. Right now in Skyrim I have a dwarven helm and Noridic Steel everything else. In Kingdoms of Amalur, I currently don't have 2 pieces that match.

Now, what they need to do is have an appearance tab likei n LOTRO and Rift. You can be wearing your armor but have the appearance of another and switch them out easily and it isn't difficult or costly like it is in GW2 or WoW.

I also think that is a big deal, right now in both the game I mentioned I don't look half bad in mismatched armors.

They need a wardrobe system like Rift or a transmog system like WoW. Though I prefer Rift's system.

They will do this. Skyrim was the testing ground for several ESO features just as oblivion was the texting ground for skyrim features.

The way Tera dished out quest gear was pretty good (though not without its shortcomings), I almost always found myself in a matching pair of clothes based on the area/quests I was doing. I think it is fairly simple to have quests/regions assigned to certain colors for gear rewards/drops, and if not, a dye system that isn't too expensive should solve any problems.

Don't MMOs generally have all sorts of ring, neck, and earring slots though? I can't see TESO reducing the amount of gear. Of all the things they could add from Morrowind into TESO (that wouldn't already be in other TES games), their gear system by far would be the one thing I'd want to incorporate in TESO.

Bethesda and TESO are two different companies (sister companies), why would they need to follow bethesda on that, and why would bethesda create Skyrim to be a mediator for a game they aren't creating themselves?
