The feel of combat

One thing that really worry's me about ESO, is I saw a article written on MORPG.com that discussed his feel of combat. I know some people wont understand what the real meaning of this means, but when I did beta testing for another game called "The Secret World" the combat in that game had a "fake" feeling to it. My hits didn't really seem to have an effect and even though I was taking health from my opponents. I didn't really feel a connection with hits that were registering.

Now some games have a good feeling like GW2 and Terra. When you strike your opponent you get the feeling that you are hitting them, and numbers are not just falling from his health. Combinations against your opponent have a sync feeling and as a livid PvP player i'm hoping that I get this feeling from the combat that I got from a select few games.

Now, i'm confident that this could be a possibility since combat in RPG Elder Scroll games felt real, even though it was clunky. Although, from this article it still worries me.
