Anyone else play DAOC and hope to see PvP turn out similar? Seeing the trailers I don't think it will be anything like WoW and hearing Matt's comments on PvP it looks a lot like DAOC's open world PvP system.

Well it is being developed by Brian Wheeler, who was the lead director of DAoC RvR. I myself played DAoC for 10 years and loved it. So, if it's even in the same ball park then i'll be excited. GW2 was a huge let down, and iv'e learned to wait till I actually have a few weeks play time in before making my judgement.

Yup, GW2 was a let down for myself as well. I played DAOC from the day it was released through all the expantions. After the Yarwin server merges I played for a few more years but lost a lot of friends along the way to other games. Can't wait to see what this game brings.
