I picked up the game at midnight and wow! After six years we've finally received a proper sequel done by Irrational Games. They nailed the atmosphere. The world is gorgeous. Elizabeth is actually helpful in combat and when out of combat she isn't just following you like a blind fool. She'll wander about, lead the way, and make conversation here and there. The combat is a blast. So far I'm loving the Murder of Crows vigor and the skylines are a ton of fun to jump around on.
I have no real gripes as of yet but I would like to warn you that it's not as horrifying as the original could be. After all, it's set in living breathing city. Think of it as you seeing the downfall of this 'picturesque' society, much like if the original took place before the chaos hit Rapture.
I'm only about 2 hours in, decided to put it down for the night as I'm damn tired.
