very confused...

So there is a sticky at the top of this forum that says it is ok to say you got into beta. But other mods are saying the exact opposite. Could we please have some clarification. Thank you :)

You can say you're in the beta...

...But don't make threads about it.

You can say that you got in and express your feelings, but DO NOT give out details about the game.

Apparently it doesn't matter. There's a topic near the bottom of the first page asking who got in and Rohugh locked it.

Yeah, some mods seems to still be locking down discussion about it entirely. But, at the very least, they all seem to be behaving as if topics dedicated to the subject are out of the question.

One does not simply "get into" the Elder Scrolls Online Beta.

Yeah confused as well. The NDA we all signed when we applied for Beta says we can't say we even got in. But mods here are saying its ok to say you got in.

W/e just best to play it safe and say nothing if you get in and just follow the instructions in the email you get.

If people know who is in the Beta they'll be asking questions and the like in PMs if not openly. I imagine an easy way to prevent that is to stop threads that openly say "look here to see who is in beta."

It's alright to say you're in beta, but publicly advertising it is still a no-no if you're doing it for the "look at me" factor.

Some clarifications are in order here (from the mod that posted the sticky thread).

If the testers intention where to release beta info they would have done so sooner or later. And I'm pretty sure admins can check messages of members on these boards and act accordingly.

Also just saw this tweet, so the Official ESO twitter is saying you can't say you got in:

https://twitter.com/TESOnline Another question: is the NDA for this round strict to the point where those involved cannot even mention their being in the beta?

https://twitter.com/thisismara That's correct. If you're selected for the https://twitter.com/search?q=%23ESO&src=http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1452294-very-confused/hash beta, the NDA restricts you from telling others. Full NDA http://t.co/YjzxisjiCe

Everyone's finally realising how inconsistent the mods are? I've been saying this for months.
