mundane names of skyrim DlC's and then next possible Name

Post » Fri Mar 29, 2013 9:09 am

As the long tile indicates this is about the names that bethesda choose to lable their DLC's, they seem to contain little or no lore to them (were as oblivion was more obvious). This may be a tactic to disguise them when they are trademarked, which is the most common way to detect a new DLC. The
Name Dragonborn would seem to refence nothing more then the main character of skyrim, while this disguise didn't work for some their were a few who though it was nothing more then a trade mark, especially since it was trademarked several times. There seems to be another title that use this strategy to disguise itself (albeit more skillfully). The title is simply "Scrolls", although the name was filed for trademark in 2012 it was ppublished for opposition on March 26th 2013 and is currently labled under " Computer and video game software for use with computers and video game consoles; downloadable computer game software offered via the internet; computer game software for use with on-line interactive games"

Because Tribunal and Bloodmoon weren't all that mundane and I doubt scrolls will be the next dlc name.

Dragonborn is really the only "mundane" one IMO.

Scrolls is not the next DLC. It is a trademark owned by ZeniMax, but a game that is being developed by Mojang.

Because Tribunal and Bloodmoon weren't all that mundane. The names fit the dlcs accordingly and if you think it's misleading then you are wrong, it's not the company's fault that you don't read a review or synopsis of a game or dlc.
I am simply saying that they seem to be nothing more then trademarks of content already in game and it seems like a strategy to try to disguise them from being too revealing of the content, such as shivering isles did.

court ruled it could be used by Mojang but also rule it to be owned by Zenimax. I did not say it would be the next title I simply said it could be, and it seems very possible especially considering how the first dlc revolved around collecting the elder scrolls.
