First MMO to ever have complete first person view with hands and everything?
Is it?

It's a big deal for me. To be able to play this game the same way as I would do in Skyrim.
I know you can have first person view in many MMO but it's just camera, it's not like real complete with hands and whatever.

Mortal Online has been out a while and has it. Perhaps there is an older game then that, in which i am unawares.

Nope, it's a spin-off from a series built on firstperson play.

The thing is that people playing an MMO in 1st person are gonna be in a huge disadvantage over people who play in 3rd person view.
In 1st person your view is so narrow compared to 3rd person.

I don't mind this game having 1st person view. I personally won't be playing in 1st person but everyone has their own taste.

Not when there's 3 massive zones of questing and exploration to be done. I'd say it wouldn't be too hard at all (and actually kinda fun) to do all of that in first person.

I hope they add it in I may be more tempted to use it. I like the 3rd person view for mmo's but if they are adding weapon / hands in i may try it out.

Lol @ the gimmick comment... It's a matter of game immersion for many people. I will be using it for everything except PvP and group PvE content.

I will use 3rd person for pvp for the same reasons as yours, but I prefer to be in 1st permanently in pve. I want the exploration and dungeons to feel like a TES game where I use 1st exclusevely.

Well, it's an MMOFPS, first-person shooter, it's sort of in the title.
In response to the post, it's not the first, Mortal Online has it. This will be better, though.
Also, "it's just a gimmick". Hrrm, is stealth just a gimmick, are graphics just a gimmick, is gameplay just a gimmick, is 3rd person just a gimmick, are the guilds just a gimmick, is the lore a gimmick?
