Would it be okay if I resubmitted a beta application using the email address I use right now? Because the email I used to sign up for the beta was compromised so I had to disable it.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as you say the reason why you are resubmitting your application.

They had problems with beta applications, lots of people didn't recieve their first email that was saying you're on the list and they were instructed to sign up again from another email. So its okay i guess.
