How many classes are there?

Hiya all,

I am under the impression there are 4 official classes, in addition to all the different armor, weapon, and magic type trees. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they are the dragon knight, Templar, sorcerer, and... rogue (I can never remember the actual class name) archtypes? My friend at work last night was arguing that there are six classes total, with the warden being one of them.

I try to keep myself up on all the current info on ESO, and am pretty excited, but did I miss something?

Thanks,
~Vontod

Four confirmed classes. I'm waiting to see if there will be branching classes, but the ones they have now seem to be too specific for that.

For example, they could have had a class called Warrior and had that class branch off into either the Knight or the Templar. Instead, they just went with the Templar from the start.

And rightfully so, as the 2 classes have absolutely nothing in common, so there would be hardly any sense in them being branched from "warrior"
