For those who pre-purchased you can already play as of yesterday. I have to say it is nice to see this game brought back to life but it does have some issues. For instance I use 1680x1050 as my resolution and it wanted to make the game resolution 1920x1080 so it would cut things off. I also noticed they changed graphics of various things arbitrarily and they do not look that great.

This release also includes Steam integration for matchmaking and hosting so no GameRanger required.

Did anyone else pick this up?

Yepp. Grabbed it today and played a random match.

Oh , nice time to head over to steam and grab me a copy then. Looks really nice to me, like they have changed just enough to make it look fresh but still like the game I remember from when I was a kid.
