I've been having more trouble with the Bloodlet Throne dungeon than I've had with any other. I keep hitting a place where a gargoyle blocks a tunnel, and a vamp on a ramp can see me from a distance, alerting about 4 vampires and thralls, and awakening the gargoyle. At this point I die horribly. Is there any shortcuts through this dungeon that I'm missing or another way to do it?

sneak and use a bow?

There's gargoyles in the Bloodlet Throne? That must be new..

There are with Dawnguard added.

Skjor sent my lv 10 character there after dawnguard was installed. she came back out of there pissed off and infected with vampirism. There was at least two gargoyals in there. Not fun or easy.
