As some may know, the Halo community is far less than pleased with Halo 4. Out of all of the major 360 releases (3/Reach/4) Halo 4 has, by far, the lowest numbers. Six months after their releases, Halo 3 had over 400k playing at peak times, Halo Reach had around 75-100k, and Halo 4 is peaking at 40-60k players at peak time.

The thing that most people are pissed about now is their comments at PAX that

really angered the community, who (if you have been on their forums) screamed and screamed for competitive, non-noobish multiplayer for over a year. I don't know what they've done, but it seems that they've either ignored the fans, or don't look at the forums for feedback and such.

So, what do you think of this? I know the majority of Bethesda Forum users are PC gamers, but surely you must have had some similar experience with another company, that makes this relevent to you?

Okay, that cannot be real, right? Please tell me it is not real. Nobody could be that stupid.

Hmm, I suppose in some situations I agree. But the fact still remains that so many of them wanted something that was not at all unreasonable. (Is it that ridiculous to ask for a little challenge and competition?)

They might be in the right, here. But if they could be less... aggressive, that would help.
