Is it allowed?

Are you allowed to discuss leaked footage as long as you don't post links to it?

We had several really good threads going about the leaked video, but they all got pulled eventually. Sad too since there was no links and they were almost entirely constructive feedback. I hope they got forwarded to some devs atleast.

It's a little confusing, as my initial thought when reading that sticky, was "So we can discuss the information, but not post links. Ok."

I can understand the threads being closed, as It's still the result of someone breaking the NDA, but I think the sticky is a tad misleading.

The leacked footage was in violation of the NDA of whoever submitted it, thus it is essentially illegal content. So basically we have to pretend that it never existed and continue talking in pure speculation or past press releases.
