So, what is this? Bethesda tease.

Seems fairly falloutish. Johann Sebastian Bach - the name on the vinyl had his scores appear in Fallout 3. Also on the vinyl, is the group The Moonbeam Trio, a group from the 30s and 40s.

I hope this is okay to post. If not feel free to lock it up, or whatever. But I thought it would get more views/discussion here.

Pete Hines just kinda confirmed it isn't Fallout related.

My only guess is something Wasteland related if JB retweeted it (IIRC he is working on it, right).

No, he isn't. Jason Bergman works for Bethesda, Inxile is doing Wasteland.

Ah, ok. Thanks for the clarification. I was mixing him up with someone else then.

Inxile? I thought some devs from Obsidian was working on it. That is probably how I got mixed up. Thanks again for clearing it up.

InXile is working on it primarily, Obsidian helped them out a little with some stuff and Chris Avellone is on the project as well.

MCA was taking part in the writing process (over now), and some tech guys helped with integrating Obsidian's dialog tools to the Unity Engine to work with Inxile's dialogsystem (iirc).

Also, I wasn't the only one getting a 40's Germany vibe from the "tease". At other forums, someone already suggested a new "Wolfenstein" game. Frankly, the "tease" didn't give me a Fallout vibe at all but rather a concentration camp (or perhaps even the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Curtain) one.

Chris Avellone
That is who I was thinking of!

I tried to "pause" the video by right clicking it, and the only word I could make out is "G String".

Like UnDeCafIndeed, I visioned more of a prison camp of sorts than Fallout.

Shot in the dark, but what else is barbed wire called? Chicken wire?

It sure seems to be a teaser for Fallout. I can't wait to see more. :tops:
Pete confirmed it isn't but he may be toying with us.

The only thing is some of the music on the record labels dates from before WW1. So I don't think that's it. Anyone get a Cthulhu vibe?

It's either Wolfenstien or some sort of horror game. Could it be related to that horror game project Bethesda was working on? I would hope for Cthulhu, but take what you can get I guess.

Ctulhu would be good -- unless it's some sort of run off the mill survival horror.

Either:

1. Follow up/sequel to Dark Corners of the Earth or just another Cthulhu
2. Wolfenstein
3. The horror game that Bethesda was working on (Which is likely IMO)

I'm 65% certain it isn't a wolfenstien. It just doesn't scream "WW2" to me, and I don't see the series getting ambitious now and changing time frame somehow? WW2 and even WW1 kinda I think more of a radio as opposed to a record.

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2013/04/16/bethesda-teases-with-barbed-wire-and-a-scratchy-record-and-its-not-fallout.aspx thinks it is a Wolfenstien, and even showed another tweet from a BioWare dev who said the same thing.

Who knows. But we sure do know one thing: Bethesda isn't kidding that they will make more noise this year!

Whilst the age of the first Disc is about right for Fallout (by a little stretch though, its the 1940's) The songs on that disc are much much too old.... Ancient even by 1940's standards.

I like this Wolfenstein idea. Seems about right.

Expecting a trailer of extreme slowmo violence with that Air on G playing in the background (kinda offering the same kind of irony as It's a wonderful world playing over a videocompilation of human cruelty towards everything on the planet). Wolfenstein it probably is.

Not that I care about Wolfenstein (or the Zwei project), but speculation is fun at times.
