Happy birthday Prey 2 update. You've moved on to solid foods and can probably understand words like limbo, cancelled, and acronyms like N.D.A. You probably won't remember this, but you were once the most promising title from Bethesda publishing until something weren't awry behind the scenes.

I know you've been out of the limelight and all, but even then I was surprised that your absent parent, Bethesda, decided to announce another game exactly a year after giving us the last know details of your whereabouts. Looking back at that update now, I should have know that something wasn't right, but I trusted Bethesda to do right by your many fans and well-wishers.

Just so you know, Human Head still loves you and is proud of you. It's worried that you haven't had enough activity. It's troubling for a developing youth to be stuck on a hard drive or sever somewhere when it's waiting to be loved by millions of fans across the world. It's not healthy.

I hope you get out of this rut soon. Just so you know, people still cheer your name and await your return. No one's taken your place at the throne. Heck, there's not even a contender worthy of your cut features that could challenge you.

We miss you, Prey 2. We have so many unanswered questions. We need to find out what happened to Tommy, how did Killian become a bounty hunter, who's worse the Ceros Collective or the Regime, what happens if I human shield a thug and drag him to the edge of central city? Will he talk or should I just laser whip him to pieces, and switch on chameleon before the cops show up? So many questions and only you have the answers.
