As you guys may or may not know, the Altmer are my favourite race in the elder scrolls. In particular I love how they're not exactly your "typical" lotr-esque fantasy elves and have a more alien culture and somewhat sinister themes. I've seen plenty of fanart based on the rare descriptions of summerset that exist in game and they look fascinating to me.

What concerns me is how Zenimax is going to handle this. With the way they've been...watering down a lot of the more zany and bizzare aspects of the elder scrolls (no khajiit subspecies, bosmer cannibalism being "private", no bug-shell altmer buildings) I'm worried the altmer's land will be reduced to an island version of Rivendell.

Now to my question: has anyone seen much of summerset isle? Are there any concrete pictures, screenshots, recent concept art that may let us know what direction they're heading? If so, do you guys like what you saw?
