GTA MMO : Othor Games

The first thing I think of when I hear GTA MMO is a city filled with Niko Bellics. An MMO where everyone is a sociopath. :ermm:

If they just converted San Andreas into an MMO, with no story, no alteration to the gamelay or quests or stats it would be awesome for a while.

Have you seen the SA multiplayer mod? It's incredible. Everybody needs to find jobs, buy their own cars, etc.

APB was fun, just had some problems. Will be interesting to see how they handle those same problems.

Yeah, it's pretty much what I'd want from a multiplayer GTA. Everyone on the server has a mobile number, you can call people to trade weapons and vehicles, lock your own car so people can't steal it, store your money in banks, go fishing, get a job... It's really in depth.

That does sound pretty awesome, I'm intrigued as to how it has managed to not devolve into people shooting each other in the nuts with shotguns.

Well I'm sure there are... It just takes a hell of a lot to get a Hunter in the MP.

Most servers are pretty strict - you start randomly killing and you end up in prison. The whole mod is really well thought out.

Its not a horrible idea if done right. But I don't see any true confirmation, but that doesn't mean that the idea will never come to be.

Yup. Chances are that from Sept. 17th until about 24th, I'll be spending most of my free time in pyjamas with a controller in my hand.
