She was only 53 and suffered from both MS and then briast cancer (which is what she succumbed to). Very sad - amazingly talented frontwoman of a great band of the 80s and 90s.

Bummer. I only remember that one hit single from about 20 years back but it did strike me that she couldn't have been that old. Just 53.
