I accidentally read on the RAGE wiki that the protagonist does have a name, and that he used to be a lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

Did I just spoil a major plot point for myself by reading that? :S

No worries, it's not actually mentioned anywhere in the game (as far as I know ... and I've played through it start-to-finish half a dozen times).

Is it still possible to install cheat codes so I don't have to start at a saved point or checkpoint?
How do I access the console if it still works?
I can't kill the mutant leader in the part about getting parts.
I'm 60 yrs old and my co-ordination is slower, but I love RAGE and want to continue playing.
Please help.

he is talkin bout the boss in the wasted garage where you go to get the parts for the buggy. its pretty easy just wait till he is done shooting then pop out and aim for his head using the monocular and let off a few rounds rinse and repeat.
