Well, for example, I would print the external casing for the headset, or the game controller and then put the pieces together myself. The electrical components on the inside I would get/make elsewhere or print em if there is a machine available for that.
I'm so excited for this 3D printing technology. It's so hype. I'm especially excited about its biological applications. But, I have no idea whats going on. I just know its possible.
Imagine printing off parts to use for a new machine instead of buying a new printer. lol
Me and my buddies play Risk and there is always misunderstandings between Green, Blue, and Grey pieces. They can look similar with a quick glance if the lighting is not great or if someone is blocking the lighting the right way. So since then I was trying to look for some different pieces and figured why not get different looking pieces instead of just the standard looking ones.
I'm not sure how this is going to work. Printing off someones work without their permission even if your not using it to sell.
I'm excited to see how this tech will change the economy.
Just hope there are schematics out there for one? There probably will be one. As far as cutting n things.. I dunno. Power source, etc, all that. I never really looked in to it. What you want stop at your imagination, I guess
Make your own toys is the way to go. I have to start keeping track of things I think of so I can print em out.
I've used Solid Works, that's what I would use to design whatever I wanted printed.
