Scorchers was great.

Scorchers was great.
1 Level of art detail was better.
2 Art style was better.
3 weapons and weapons upgrades were good.
4 And it was just plain fun.
5 It was worth $4.99
6 Also I think the pop in performance is a lot better.
7 You can get collectors cards at the store.
8 You can keep playing after you beat the game.
9 You can play any level.
10 You can enable all the classic cheats in the command line like all the old id games.

1. Was a blast!
2. Nailgun rocks ... rebar is fun to shoot, rail gun with infrared display is a blast (and very helpful when trying to discern bad guys)
3. Much more challenging .. I died a few times trying to figure stuff out.
4. Sarah is hot (scorching)
5. Scorcher gunship battle was awesome ... duck and shoot
6. Love the bone mutants and their sounds
7. Very last room was cool! (won't ruin it)
8. Mutant Bash TV was intense -- art was beautifully done
9. I'd buy these DLC's all day long if id/Bethesda made 'em

This was one of the few times where I played a games DLC and thought it was done complete and that a lot of hard work was put into it. Borderlands 2 DLC has really disapointed me this year. Torgue was good, but Pirate Booty was boring and didn't add anything new to the table. This Rage DLC is very well made.

I have to agree, and it is well integrated. For £3.69 / $4.99, it is very good value. I haven't finished it yet, but I have done a few new missions, played some new gambling games and the new mutant bash level - very impressed. The scenario (level) select from the main menu is a welcome touch.

Just finished, fantastic DLC. Blends nicely to the game, beautiful new areas and cool(er) enemies, art work is top-notch as always from ID. It seems that lot of effort went to this one. Under priced. Would be great to have a second DLC, but I'm not sure how we got even this one.

have been enjoying playing the DLC - I noticed that a lot of the Sewers DLC was re-used for the wellspring tunnels and but in such a way that it was not obvious at all. Some of the distillery and gearhead plant textures also were re-used for the refinery.

Neither of the above observations are a criticism, its a credit to ID how well they have completed the DLC - This DLC has really opened up the Rage world far beyond the original game.

The scorchers hq levels are breathtakingly beautiful in some parts

I enjoy id tech 5. Best engine ever made. I like the lights from the torches etc. reminds me of the unreal1 lights, but this is the best made so far. Did I say, this is the best engine?! Stunning graphics and can not load my cpu/gpu too much (cpu 53C and gpu 58C). Just brilliant. I know what can be done with this engine, but they want PC and consoles to be the same, to look the same. I remember very well 2007 demo of the tech and the "level of detail" and the texture resolution.

I just liked how it added to the world. I like the world of Rage and like seeing more stuff added to it.
Nailgun is fun (overpowered, but fun)
Being able to buy one card I missed saved me going back several hours if I wanted them all.
Trophy room to remind me of all I have accomplished with this character.

Thanx for that Scorcher DLC!
Great stuff!
I'd love to have more of this as it makes me replay Rage all the way through.
What an underrated piece of ingenuity!

Btw.: You spoiled my family's christmas...
