Starting over or continuing from your last save?

Post » Mon May 06, 2013 4:24 pm

I for one will be starting a fresh playthrough. It's been about a year since I've actually spent a good deal of time on the game so it will be fun to play it over again on a higher difficulty level.

I'll start over because the scorchers are tied in apparently from start to finish
They are apparently met right after the Ghosts, and they carry on a bit after the end of the game. So there is no way I wouldn't start fresh!

I'm going to continue on. I can't wait to use the BFG in the dlc.

I have been playing a little bit the past couple of days since the announcement of the DLC. I'm just up to Wellspring now - I'll just continue from here. It's such a beautiful looking game - the character animation is awesome!

I am going to start over, but I have to wait until this afternoon for the DLC so I might as well start now!

Not if you already have it. The DLC will add it's self to the game.

I mean, I deleted the RAGE content after completing the game. I'm re-downloading the game itself.

After finally getting the dlc to work with the game again i too am starting fresh. Last played on Oct 21 2011 and had 99 hours in. After all the effort it took to get the game to play at launch (60 plus hours of tweaking) on PC plus the 24 extra hours to get the the new dlc to play nice I am playing from the start today as my B-Day present to myself.

I am a Baby Boomer and turn 55 today...Hey I am officially a Senior Citizen, funny still feel like a 20 year old.

Others suggest i may see some of the look/feel/play for Doom 4. Also buying Doom titles as I've never played them, so a good B-Day all around.

I played on using the BFG - it was great fun to actually have a scenario - lots of scorchers swarming me - where I could put it to its intended use.

I'm looking forward to re-playing rage from the start - mainly to see how having the nail/rebar/rail gun changes gameplay in places like the dead city
