Since the Support forums are completely dead, I have to put a link to my topic here. Sorry, I know it's the wrong place, but at the rate things are going, I'll never get to play through this DLC.

I've even messaged GStaff twice on the matter, and no response from him either.

Can't play now either. Problem hasn't fixed itself.

In the absence of anything else being named, try starting a new game in the DLC. This same problem occasionally used to happen in the main game - crashing when about to access the next area (I experienced it a couple of times) and it was something connected to a corrupt save file. In my case, I reverted back a few saves and I was then able to get through.
