Yeah, its yet another indie game being launched on kickstarter. Its however already met its goal in the first couple of days, and looks f'n awesome with whats shown in the kickstarter promo video.

It looks like it will have alot of gameplay heavy on world/city building. It will be fully modable too, with tools given to encourage players to create their own content.

I've never donated money in kick starter but i may do so for the first time for this game.

More like Dwarf Fortress than Dungeon Keeper... but that doesn't make it any less awesome. :P

looking at the different levels of donators on the kickstarter, saw some one donated $5000. Thats kind of crazy, must of been some one from a wealthy disposition.

Just... don't give up on it at first glance.

It's incredibly deep, truly deeper than any other dungeon/fortress building game, but it's also notoriously hard to get into. A great starting place would be the http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=59026.0 which has everything you'll need to get started, including a couple tileset packs (unless you really, really want to stare at ASCII characters as graphics) and many useful utilities to make managing your settlement a lot easier, such as Dwarf Therapist. Just remember: losing is fun! And to illustrate the point, here are the epic tales of the fortresses known as http://bronzemurder.timdenee.com/ and http://oilfurnace.timdenee.com/

Since everything in the game is randomly generated (including those names) there is no telling what you'll encounter. But it usually, inevitably, ends up bad.

Oh right, misunderstood entirely then.

Still, any excuse to bring up those two tales is worth it.

And yes, on the military... did they ever get around to fixing the training system?
